About HKMSCA
Established in 2013, Hong Kong Mind Sport Competition Association (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”)
is dedicated to promoting intellectual sports in Hong Kong and serves as the governing body for such activities, coordinating its affiliated chapters.
Initially, the Association focused on Riichi Mahjong. Gradually, it has expanded to include a variety of strategic board games such as Monopoly, Catan, Saboteur, and Wizards, among others. Aiming to further promote the development of intellectual competitions in society, foster cultural exchange, and uphold the spirit of competition.
In 2025, the Association signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Japan’s professional Riichi Mahjong organization, marking the first step in establishing a collaborative relationship between the Association and Japan.
